Following their inspection in November 2007 of the Nursery, Junior and Senior Schools at Beaconhurst a report produced by HMIe was published on 11th March 2008. We are delighted with the findings of the inspection team which identifies strength throughout the school’s provision as well as significant areas of excellence.
This was both a robust and rigorous process that compared Beaconhurst against the national standards applied to both independent and state sectors. That the team was able to report so positively is a ringing endorsement of the hard work of pupils, commitment of staff and support of parents. The six areas judged to be excellent in the evaluations made by the inspectors place Beaconhurst at the forefront of good practice within Scottish education.
