Beaconhurst Remembers

Beaconhurst held their Remeberance Day service at the school on Monday 11th November where all pupils from Nursery through to S6 and staff attended the event. Our guest speaker for the service was Major Alasdair Hempenstall, OC A Company, The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Batallion The Royal Regisment of Scotland.  The music was supplied by piper Mr Iain Bowden who played the lament, Flowers of the Forest. Readings were undertaken by pupils in Junior and Senior School with prayers lead by Revd Dominic Ind.

Rememberance 2013

Head Boy, Grant Robertson and Head Girl, Joanna Lowrie also attended the service on Rememberance Sunday at the Bridge of Allan war memorial and laid a wreath on behalf of the school.
