School Fees

Please follow this link for a copy of our Fees for 2008/09.

It is a condition of attendance that fees are payable in advance, seven full days prior to the first day of the term for which they are due for the Main School, and within 14 days of receipt of a fee note for the Nursery, unless paid by the school’s Direct Debit scheme.

Beneficial arrangements exist for paying a lump sum towards school fees.  Please note such payments must be made before the start of Term 3 prior to the school session to which they apply.  Further information can be obtained from the Bursar.

Nursery Grants
Beaconhurst has a funding arrangement with Stirling Council – ‘The Early Years Partnership’ – whereby part, but not all, of the nursery fee may be funded by the Council. The School makes the claim on the parents’ behalf termly and this is reflected by an entry on the fee note each term. Please note there are age restrictions to the scheme and eligibility can be checked with the School. Childcare vouchers are an acceptable form of payment.

Scholarships and Bursaries
Scholarships up to a maximum of 10% of tuition fees are available to pupils entering Senior 1 and Senior 5. These are open to internal and external candidates with examinations taking place in March and are awarded competitively for academic excellence, regardless of financial need.

Bursaries are also available on a means-tested basis. The entry level for bursaries is set annually by the Board of Governors and application must be received by December for the following academic year. A bursary will not be assessed on academic ability and is designed to support the education of pupils who would not otherwise be able to attend a fee-paying school.
